Hand and Prints—Collaboration between Form and Surface In this two-week intensive workshop,
Cobb and Burnett invite participants
to get their hands dirty and join in
the exciting collaboration between
ceramic form and surface. Cobb and
Burnett will demonstrate their unique
approaches to wheel throwing and
hand building and show how to
personalize work with alteration
techniques. Students will have the
opportunity to explore a variety of
surface techniques using slips,
stamps, screen-printed imagery and
sandblasting glaze. Participants can
expect creative exercises and critical
discussions relative to form and
surface and how to find harmony
between the two. Students will take
home finished work. |
